Waves or Stars?
Waves wear rare pearls
Created by a celestial dame
They bounce with the morning rays,
echo with the rushing ripples,
Sending a shiver across the shore.
Waves hold the stars,
A silvery liquid sparkles and flows
through the dark alleyways of my heart
To thaw the emotional distrust,
to purge my shadowy eyes.
A thousand stories
linger on the beaming waves
Eager to spillover.
An anchor
for time traps in this maelstrom.
Waves hold the power
To allure, to calm, to tranquilize
Waves hold the light,
The light that wraps around my heart
to guide, to let go.

What a gorgeous poem. I’d never thought of stars when looking at waves, but now thanks to you, I will. Yes, the way the water reflects, beams, and flows through and around us is part of the eternal energy.
