can we dig deeper?
to excavate dormant dreams,
to nurture the love
that still waits at the crossroads,
eager to hone harmony.
***
can we wriggle out?
can the snowy shackles melt?
walk a mile with me
better beginnings beckon
lustrous love lingers in hearts.

Thanks to Colleen and Robbie for the inspiration to write syllabic poetry. The challenge this week is to write a poem that “features one or more forms of alliteration.”
Alliteration has been one of my favorite literary devices.
My new poetry book is dedicated to such blogger buddies for inspiring me to learn and write syllabic poetry. If you like poetry, please click on the link to look inside
