When the World was Ours #WDYS

When the World was Ours…

Life was just sunshine
When this quaint village nurtured us
We didn’t know chaos
when Mother Nature cradled capricious kids.

Unaware of the beauties
of dusk and dawn
We played on the bridge for hours,
making unreal promises.

Even the breeze loved our dreams,
Light gray clouds billowed golden glow
When the orange ball slowly descended
and the stream soaked colors with glee.

Autumn was our favorite season
When wine drunk leaves danced,
crunched under our feet
And the hills reverberated our laughter.

Drenching in the moonlight
Gathering silvery beams in our hearts
was the real joy
That was our world once – so surreal.
