This week’s TankaTuesday is quite inspiring as Melissa has introduced us to Pi-ku, a new poetic form. I was not familiar with it and therefore, it was fun to learn it.
A Pi-Ku is a short, three-line-poem that mimics the structure of a traditional haiku but uses a 3-1-4 syllabic format.
clouds descend
kiss
earth’s elixir
***
celestial
blue
embraces their mist
***
meandering
stream
calms the aura
***
harmony
hinges
on their fusing
