Comforting Vibes

near
the lake,
beyond the
verdant mountains 
where the clouds adorn 
jewels of a rainbow,
dwell celestial souls that lend
their hues to comfort distraught minds,
to keep them away from smoky skies
perpetrated by power hungry wolves.

You can either use the painting, OR… Find a piece of art and write your syllabic poem! Don’t describe what is in your painting; instead, let the colors and brush strokes inspire your words.”

An Etheree is a type of poem which consists of 10 lines of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 syllables.
