Truth?
Shadows sway near them, blurring boundaries
Moments of betrayal bleed,
foggy windows don’t lie.
In a trance, I watch how flimsy is trust
how relationships wither
on obscure paths of love.
The definition of deceit is vague,
clouded by lies of judgment
truth holds various hues!
Your truth crouches behind the man you chose
My truth is so translucent
Yet it is soaked in blood.

Truth is quite strange, it changes with individuals! Thank you for sharing your thoughts, Maggie.
Yes according to their needs Balroop.
Thank you for reminding me of that.
Have a lovely day 🤗
🥰🤗
Truth and its myriad hues! We lay too much emphasis on love. Such a layered response. Love it.
Thank you for understanding the layers, Punam. 🤗
You are welcome, Balroop. 🤗
Truth. So many are lost when it comes to truth. A powerful telling Balroop 🥰

Haha! Just my imagination, Denise. I have to think again. Thanks for sharing an inspiring thought. 🤗
This reads like the prologue to a horror story. 🙂 Great job!
Oh! I didn’t have anything like that in my mind. Thanks for sharing your thought, Jan.
What a powerful response, Balroop! “Truth holds various hues” So sad, and I didn’t expect that ending. Wonderful! 💕
I didn’t know how the ending came but I like it. 😊 Thank you Lauren.
Sometimes, those are the best. You’re welcome, Balroop! 🥰
That’s a powerful poem, Balroop. Truth seems very subjective these days, and that’s scary as heck. I’d go for translucent truth any day.
Great poem, Balroop!
