A host of sparrows
flit and flutter in delight
courtyard is mirthful

grandma smiles with affection

Book Blurb:

Fusion is the elixir of life. We seek it in every aspect of the cosmos. The magic of fusion manifests itself in the colors of dawn and dusk, in the melodies of nature, in the singing of birds, in the miniscule moments of joy, inspiring us to live in harmony with each other despite the edges that threaten to swallow us.

The poems in this collection are an amalgamation of harmonies and edges that bind us firmly. We have to wade into murky waters to measure the depth. We have to risk the heights to know our worth. Slippery snow makes us learn how to create footholds. Some songs of life dilute in the hourglass of time to erase the shadows – dark or light, all the colors play an equal role to create a fusion.

I am looking forward to your help in promoting it. Thank you for your continued support.

Balroop Singh.

  1. I was wondering where your book announcement was, Balroop. I’m glad to see it here. I get the feeling that you’re very busy with life, my friend. Take time to enjoy your release.

And a gorgeous tanka. I love the idea as grandma as the benefactor. What a beautiful picture you paint. I’m all smiles.

    1. Yes, my announcement was planned for this week but Sally chose to announce it before me and I was delighted at her offer. So I have posted this post in a hurry. 😊 Thank you so much for your support.

  2. How exciting, Balroop! Congrats on your new collection! The cover is beautiful and I love the blurb. Will there be a paperback version available? If so, I’ll wait for that. I’m on the screen enough for work, so I’d rather have the book in hand. 🙂 Your tanka is lovely too, and I’m happy to help promote. 🤗

    1. Thank you Lauren, yes, I have already created and uploaded the print version but it is a bit expensive, as I chose the best paper and the cost of printing has also been increased by Amazon. You must be busy with your own book right now. so you can promote it whenever you feel free.

  3. There are many trees surrounding my new home and block the flow of birds. I love the host of sparrows. I love to be the benefactor to behold the host of birds one day when we landscape our garden. Congratulations again for your new release, Balroop! Sally is the best to support us all.

  4. I love “courtyard is mirthful.” I can just picture the image.
I had no idea you had a new release coming up, Balroop. You know I love your poetry. Of course, I pre-ordered! 🤗
