teary-eyed clouds burst
wind rides on the wings of nymphs
rain-drops dance with glee.

we soothe the parched earth
the sand rises up to greet us
a fleeting embrace.

The weather and the earth can be merciless but we have the strength to endure. I like your last line, “a fleeting embrace,” Balroop.
I like the teary-eyed clouds, Balroop. They look that way sometimes when they are filled with rain. Your second poem is fabulous too.
