Time twinkles and glows
a fraction of an hour pauses
watch the spectacle!
the horizon celebrates
the design of hued twilight.
***
clouds vie with passion
steal the radiance of sky
momentary splash –
crafted by ardent artist,
articulating finesse.

Beautiful post 🎸🎸
Thank you!
I would say you did a wonderful job with this prompt. The second stanza incorporates some high syllabic words, and still flows very freely. Nice job!
Thank you Violet.
This is so very beautiful Balroop.
I particularly love the last two lines.
Thank you for sharing your words.

Lovely, inspiring poem and beautiful sunset, Balroop! ❤️ It always amazes me that, like fingerprints, every sunrise or sunset is unique!
I agree, each sunrise and sunset is glorious and different. I love both. Thank you for sharing a beautiful thought. 🥰
Your words capture the beauty of the photo, and the beauty of eternity within (or more, without) the constraints of time. xo
This was not a photo prompt Pam. I chose the image after writing the tanka series. I am glad they capture the beauty of sunset. Thank you for sharing your lovely thought.
I love this mellow “pause,” Balroop. So grateful that nature offers us such beauty that we forget our troubles and notice something exquisite, lasting, and larger than us. You capture that gift wonderfully.
You are so right, Diana. The beauty around us is a balm that momentarily heals our hearts. Thank you dear friend, you have a lovely heart.
Trying to spread a little love around, Balroop, while I still can. ❤ ❤ ❤
