#TankaTuesday – Taiga

pristine clouds seem like
angels about to descend
will they spray magic,
drenching me with divine love?
mesmerizing spectacle.

#TankaTuesday is back! Thank you dear Colleen for the inspiration to write syllabic poetry.

For challenge no. 1, Colleen invites interested writers to create a taiga, and the caveat is to use a black and white image, paired with a syllabic poem. A taiga is a tanka and an image.

Thank you for reading my poetry.

  1. Yes, Tanka Tuesday is back. Isn’t that wonderful!

Your poem is beautiful as are those clouds, Balroop. I know they are filled with magic and I’m glad you could sense that. Hugs.

    1. The magic of clouds often inspires me, their perpetual presence in my poems shows how much positivity I derive from them. Thank you for understanding them so well, my friend. Love and hugs.
