A Pleasant Morning

I open my front door to be greeted by the marvels of Mother Nature. No more subtle, autumn shines through some leaves while myrtle trees compete with them in their own way. A pleasant morning is adorned by the mackerel clouds, promising a positive change. Sun peeps through them, refusing to surrender. After a smoldering summer, we heave a sigh of relief and look forward to night parties in the backyard to honor the change of season.

  1. May each new dawn hold pleasant delights for you dear Balroop.. Lovely garden photo and poem Balroop… Sending love, and congratulations on your soon to be published book… Even though it may hold some poignant verse … lots of love your way xx ❤

  2. I think the relief from the heat is one of the many lovely characteristics of autumn, Balroop, and your poem captures that beautifully – especially the way it draws you out in the evenings under the stars. Lovely, my friend.

  3. Beautiful, Balroop. And my sincerest congratulations on your upcoming release. I know it will be a collection I’ll savor. ❤️
