Tranquil dawn beckons
bird songs enhance the magic
mellifluous mirth!
spring trots majestically
a delusional design.
***
Mother Earth’s attire
alters within a few days
just like blissful life
that transforms within moments
hazy moon is in mourning.
***
commiserating,
sharing my gloom with the world,
sending soothing vibes
creating a mist of love
besotted birds enter clouds.

Balroop, a lovely lightness and sense of play at times in these wonderful poems, I’m smiling at the ‘mellifluous mirth’ of the bird song! There seems to be an enveloping caress of nature, trying to become a balm for the deep grief. The dichotomy of life is ever close.
Many thanks for your beautiful words of encouragement Annika. Nature is a natural healer but such moments are transitory!
Balroop, your capture of this spring through bird song and the hazy moon reminds me to appreciate the world around me. That second tanka really grabs me in the heart. Hugs and love, to you. 🌸
